The NDH Repeat Length Monitor Board Interface allows the user to
configure the FactoryLink Software System to monitor print repeat length
and detect out of limit conditions. Using the NDH Repeat Length Monitor (RLM)
Board installed in a PC computer, the RLM Interface can start and stop
continuously data scanning and processing for batch operations. Deviation
limits can be configured within NDH Repeat Length Monitor Board Interface
to announce when the process goes out of limits and when it returns back
within the limits.
The NDH Repeat Length Monitor Board Interface is responsible for the following
data transactions:
Reading print repeat and footage length data from the NDH Repeat
Length Monitor board.
Processing print repeat length deviation and detecting out of limit
conditions.
Announcing and acknowledging any error that may occur for the above
transactions.
The FactoryLink NDH Repeat Length Monitor Board Interface offers
two configuration options:
NDH RLM Board Configuration -- Assigns which PC's hardware address
and hardware interrupt to use to interface to the Repeat Length Monitor board.
Two FactoryLink Real-Time Database elements can be setup to announce and
acknowledge an error that occurred within this background task to a foreground
task. Consists of one configuration panel: NDH Repeat Length Monitor Hardware
Board Configuration.
NDH RLM Read Configuration -- Identifies the FactoryLink Real-Time Database
elements to be used to start and stop the print repeat length monitoring,
job monitoring parameters, and processed information to be transferred to
the database. Consists of two configuration panels: NDH Repeat Length Monitor
Read Information Configuration and NDH Repeat Length Monitor Read Information
Configuration.
